OUR CUSTOM DESIGNED ASPHALT MIX
Hot mix asphalt in brief can be described as a mixture produced by heating aggregate, hydrated lime, asphalt binder and sometimes other modifiers. We at APAC-Atlantic have our complete participation in the various levels of designing the actual asphalt mixture, which is then submitted to the contracting agency for their approval, upon approval we set our plants to produce a mixture that is then tested to see if we are producing to the design we submitted. In addition to these, there is at all times a technician at the plant and with the paving crew, in order to ensure a smooth workflow. We constantly strive to satisfy our clients and hence have set these parameters for ourselves.

APAC-Atlantic, Inc. specializes in the Ultra-Thin Asphalt application that offers a distinct advantage in the product’s ability to adhere to existing pavement and prevent delamination on concrete surfaces. Ultra-thin asphalt uses quality components of aggregates, polymer asphalt binder, and polymer emmulsion membrance added with the use of a spray paver makes ultra-thin a viable option on certain projects. We are one of North Carolina's certified contractors that have the equipment to lay this type of asphalt.
